How to Prepare Your Home for Pressure Washing

Clear the perimeter

Move planters, patio furniture, grills, kids' toys, welcome mats, and anything else that's leaning against the surfaces we're cleaning. It sounds obvious, but the number-one delay on pressure washing jobs is spending the first 20 minutes shuffling stuff around. If it's too heavy to move easily, just let us know — we'll work around it or help move it.

Close windows and doors

Water finds a way. Before we start, walk the house and confirm every window, storm window, and exterior door is fully latched. Basement windows and pet doors are the most commonly forgotten. If you have windows that don't seal well, mention it — we'll steer around them.

Protect plants and outdoor electrical
